Soniya Mehra Sizzles in a photoshoot for Grazia Magazine. She (born 2 December 1988, India) is an upcoming actress in Bollywood films. She is the daughter of the late veteran actor Vinod Mehra and his third and last wife Kiran. She was only two years old when her father died in 1990. Since then she was brought up in Kenya with her brother Rohan by her grandparents. and completed her education in London. Soniya went to school at The Mombasa Academy in Mombasa, Kenya. She began her training in acting at the age of only 8 years old from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts(LAMDA) where she completed up to the Gold Medal with an Honours. She also trained at The Arts Educational Schools of London at the age of 16-18. When she was 18 she moved back to Bombay and joined Anupam Kers Actor Prepares where she did a 3 month course. It is also believe that Soniya learnt Urdu and Hindi from three different teachers, to get rid of her British accent. Soniya is also a trained dancer, she has learnt various forms of dance including ballet, street jazz, kathak, hip hop, ballroom dance, Latin American dance, contemparary and bollywood.
